Virtural ECA was user friendly and interview sessions were as informative as the being in person

ECA Marketplace is ALWAYS the most organized, over-the-top venue and networking experience in the industry. I have been to many of the ECA events, including the Virtual Marketplace, and I always leave with positive results, new relationships and multiple potential partnerships.

As my first time attend the ECA this is an amazing event that forms a industry bond to other companies that we my never get to speak to due to our distance across the states. The ECA is helping to create a bigger connection for smaller company's to building a platform by branching outside of its normal travel radius to build business.

ECA has been our most productive conference for the 3 years we have participated. This year was no different. No other industry conferences have been a successful with a virtual conference.

I’ve been fortunate enough to participate in the ECA/Marketplace for many years now and each time, I leave the event impressed at the number of new connections I’ve made and how great it was connecting with clients and friends within the industry. In 17 years of attending, we have always been able to grow our business as a direct result of participating in the event. I have been in this business for 40 years and have attended many conferences in this industry. The ECA Marketplace is absolutely the best platform for qualified shippers to connect with qualified carriers. I have attended for 20 yrs. The Marketplace is a one stop shop to network, meet existing customers (just travel to one location), meet new prospects, and talk to vendors who specialize in our industry. This is speed dating for businesses and extremely efficient.

The inaugural Marketplace Reimagined was a critical step for the ECA to continue to remain as the premiere vehicle for shippers, vendors and carriers to find each other. While not nearly the scope of the annual in person event, it proved that one or more virtual events are not only convenient for members but critical to the ongoing mission of the ECA. Information is being directed to our members from many sources such as Facebook, LinkedIn, etc. so it is imperative that the ECA maintain it’s visibility by conducting events such as this. I believe once word continues to ripple throughout our industry, future participation will greatly expand. Of course there are a few bugs that need to be sorted out but our first endeavor went much better than we could have expected. These testimonials should serve to help “get the word out” to the greater membership that the event was easy to attend and easy to participate in. I believe we will continue to leverage this event as well as other contactless opportunities to enhance the ECA experience and provide value for our membership.

Ascent On-Demand has forged many key transportation partnerships by attending the Express Carrier Association’s Marketplace conference annually. This year, amid a pandemic, they pulled off a successful virtual conference! Beyond offering the same pre-rated and matched one-to-one meetings with existing and future partners, the ECA also grew its online capabilities by launching a social-style portal community with one-click access to all participating members’ information. The ECA is second to none when it comes to building relationships with carriers across North America. At Ascent, we value these connections deeply. We realize that we would not have crossed paths with many of the incredible carriers we partner with today without participating in events hosted by the ECA. The relationships started because of the beneficial face-to-face interaction, both in person and this year online. We look forward to Orlando in 2021!

I highly recommend joining the ECA and attending their annual Marketplace to increase your company’s exposure within the market. We have greatly benefitted from the network and our attendance in the past. This year, the ECA did a great job adapting to the current environment by providing a virtual networking platform which allowed us to connect with many potential customers.
